Every destination on this site is somewhere I have actually driven, flown or taken an 85-hour bus to reach — filmed on the way, and written up afterwards. Pick a continent to see the trips, the routes and the stories behind them.

Most of it so far is Brazil: 12,500 kilometres in a 1997 Toyota Hilux called Blanca Beast, from Rio de Janeiro to the Paraná border, down the switchbacks of the Serra do Rio do Rastro, and deep up the Amazon to Santarém.
